Light green patches that spread, turn reddish brown and then die. Improper fertilization and poor watering habits increase a lawn's susceptibility. In severe cases fungicides may need to be applied by a licensed applicator. Usually, once symptoms become readily noticed, it's too late to control the disease for the current season.
